ACT 2

<< SPOILERS >>

Save her

When you arrive to Moonrise Towers, you’ll find Minthara in the main hall towards the back.

– Chose dialog options that favor her
– She’ll be taken below to the prison
– Deal with the goblin group
– Go to the basement (door on right) to find Minthara
– Find her in the first door on your left

– Interrupt the gnomes and try talking with Minthara
– Choose dialog options that favor her
– Fight or fake your way out of the room

This act is a big turning point for Minthara. You can save her and escape from Moonrise, then recruit her into your party. Go to Moonrise Towers ASAP so you can recruit her and start gaining approval.

Minthara getting taken away at Moonrise Towers.

Escape

Now that Minthara is with you again, it’s time to escape Moonrise. It’s best to avoid going back up stairs, the enemies are numerous.

The best escape (fewest enemies) is by doing it with another quest that breaks the Ironhand gnomes out of prison. If you saved the Tieflings, you’ll see them locked up and they’ll join the break out too.

Talk to Wulbren about helping him escape.

– Talk to the gnome named Wulbren
– Throw him a bludgeoning hammer
– They’ll break out and free the tieflings
– Fight off the guards if needed
– Loot the prison
– Go through hole in wall to find Wulbren near a boat
– Suggest going to the Last Light Inn to escape

Hole in the prison cell that Wulbren made that leads to a boat.
The escape door in the prison.

If you’re not doing the gnome breakout quest, then you can escape the prison through some large doors that lead to the side of Moonrise Tower. Once outside, walk until you see a small broken bridge and jump over it back into the Shadow-cursed lands.

Recruit her

Once you’re off Moonrise Towers property, Minthara will ask if you have a place to camp. Tell her you do to recruit her.

Recruit Minthara at Last Light Inn.

It’s now safe to return to camp. She’ll have her own tent. If you’re using mods and recruited Halsin, they stand near the same tent.

Now that she’s in your party, you can start earning approval from her and build up towards a romance if desired.

You need at least 30 approval points to start romance dialog with Minthara.
